Winter Covered Tennis:
You may have heard that following the success of Bob’s Clark’s tennis program, the club intends to build two more indoor courts next year which is great news as demand for the covered courts is always high. Until then we have to ensure the most efficient use of the existing covered courts and as such have established the following covered court winter policy.
All coaching groups and social session will be given priority over court bookings; these sessions are open to all members of all ages and abilities.
We believe this will ensure an efficient use of the courts as up to eight members can be accommodated with a group session.
Beyond this the clubs coaches will not coach on a one to one basis on both covered courts at any one time.
Members may book covered courts for up to 1.5 hours as opposed to out door courts this being 2 hrs up to two weeks prior.
Members are asked to register at reception prior to accessing the covered courts and to leave the court in good time for players who have a subsequent booking.
Members who book courts and fail to register or turn up for the booking will be restricted from booking the covered courts.
Flood lights here at Wickwoods is complimentary, however please help us conserve energy and costs by advising reception when you have finished playing. You may find if you play over your book time that the lights are turned off without notice, to avoid this please make sure your booking covers the entire period you wish to play for.
