Tennis courts at Wickwoods Country Club

Wickwoods offers state-of-the-art indoor courts. They were among the first at club level to feature LTA approved LED lighting, which provides less glare, superior ball definition and enhanced play. The indoor courts help to reinforce Wickwoods as one of the region’s leading tennis based heath and fitness clubs.

In total there are four indoor courts; two within our purpose-built building and a further two courts that are usually covered by a dome from mid-autumn until early spring.

Use of our indoor courts is included in membership at Wickwoods. Which is inclusive of complimentary booking and lighting, as well as all the other benefits of membership, including the pool, hydropool, sauna, steam room, gym and exercise classes.

Top players including Julian Cash, and world-ranked Keelan Oakley have both played on the courts. Plus the late Wimbledon legend Maria Bueno, who was the most successful South American female tennis player in history, and the only one to ever win Wimbledon in 1959. During her visit, Maria played tennis on these courts and was highly positive commenting on the lighting and indoor facility.
